Opportunities to Learn and Grow

Just because you're a grown up, doesn't mean you're done learning. God's word is living and active. And that is what we want to be. As we dig deeper into God's truth through Bible study, we grow into honesty and transparency. The more we get honest about our failures and our great need for a Savior, the more we are transformed into the image of that very Savior.

The natural response to growth is service

Whatever your gifts or interests, ministry opportunities are available. We need teachers, musicians, assistants and behind the scenes workers.

    Small Groups

Life is not meant to be lived alone. God intends for us to experience life together. That’s why we encourage you to join a small group.

A small group is a weekly gathering of three or more people who meet in a home, workplace, public space or the church building. They share life experiences, study God’s Word and pray together.

Groups come in all shapes and sizes: married couples, singles, kids/no kids, workplace, under 20, over 40. No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you.

  • We have multiple Bible fellowships each Sunday morning. Teachers are needed. Are you burdened to share a particular study because it was helpful to you? There may be room for one more class.

Would you be willing to fill in for a Sunday or even a month of Sundays for another teacher? Please let Pastor Joel know if this falls in your skill set.

  • The Christian Service Committee is a unique group. Members are nominated and approved by ballot. They oversee many projects such as Easter breakfast and Thanksgiving dinner. Extra hands are needed to help those on the committee.

If you would like to help with these things or other behind the scenes work, contact Cathy Beemer.

  • Ushers and greeters are our first to welcome people into the church. They pass out bulletins, greet people and pass/collect the offering.
