Operation Christmas Child

At Bible Baptist Church, we pack and collect shoebox gifts in partnership with Samaritan’s Purse. Their mission is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations. We support Operation Christmas Child in several ways:

  1. We pack shoebox gifts individually to collect at the church during National Collection Week (third week in November). How to Pack a Shoebox

  2. We pack shoeboxes online in support of the hard to reach or sensitive countries. Build Your Shoebox Online! - Operation Christmas Child

  3. We have packing parties during the year when we gather funds and donated items and pack shoeboxes together. Host an Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party. Monthly donated items and purchased items are stored at the church. Year-Round-Packing.pdf.

  4. We support a Central Drop-Off Location during National Collection Week for the Northwest Michigan Area Team. Shoebox Drop Off Locations
